A posh library, facilitated with 4000 textbooks of latest literature in medical & nursing sciences enriches students' leaning activity. The literature as prescribed in the University syllabus, and recommended by the Indian Nursing council makes a reference library.
KJSCON organizes two days book exhibitions every year with the help of different books sellers / publishers which open to faculty, staff and students KJSCON and other somaiya ayurvihar campus. Students , faculties and viewers can recommend books for the library as well as purchase books for their personal use.
To celebrate any special day the Information in the form of text and pictures are displayed in the library notice board.
The library arranged best reader award every year and felicitates them during the Lamp Lightning ceremony. Best readers are selected on the basis of statistics of maximum number of books borrowed and annual report of the students.
Our college celebrated Marathi Bhasha Diwas on 27th February which is the birth anniversary of well known Marathi writer and poet Shri V. Va. Shirwadkar. Students participated in the different competitions like speeches, poems, skits, essay writing and posters etc to cultivate the importance of Marathi Language . The various information resources available in Marathi like books, magazines is displayed by library in display area.
Library is open all days, except Sunday and institute notified holidays. Students, faculty and staff can borrow library materials from the library between
10.00 am to 5.30 pm (Monday to Saturday)
2nd & 4th saturday off
8.30am to 6.00pm (Monday to Saturday)
