KJSCON library has provided reading room facility for students and faculties. They can use reading area for study and current reading from 8.30am to 6.00pm
All nursing books are arranged subjectwise in cupboards. Library provides open acces system whereby students and faculties are allowed to select books as per their requirements.
Reminders are sent to the users in order to remind them about the library resources that they need to return.
A Gentle Reminder email is sent seven days before due date of a book to faculty and staff and one day before the due date of a book to the students.
An Overdue Reminder email is sent after the due date of a book to all users periodically.
An Intimation Reminder email is sent to users if any book issued by them has a reservation. Also, an intimation email and SMS is sent to the user who has reserved the book, about the availability of the reserved book.
Institute provides free internet facility to every Students and faculties, user can use internet to access their email, e-databases, e-journals and e-books within campus.
Also institute provides every user their own internet login credentials (svv net id) to access wifi.
Book bank facility is available in our college since 2014. Every year the grant for BBY is provided by MUHS university, student welfare department. We purchase set of books and distribute it to economically backward and deserving students who are selected by the class coordinators. The students are allowed to keep these books till their annual examination. Students have to apply in MUHS prescribed format to avail this facility.
The Institute prides itself for its collection of English and Marathi novel and story books to encourage reading as a hobby among students and faculty.
