Samir Somaiya is Chairman and Managing Director of Godavari Biorefineries Ltd., Chairman of The Somaiya Trust, the K J Somaiya Medical Trust, Girivanvasi Educational Trust, Girivanvasi Pragati Mandal, President of Somaiya Vidyavihar & Owner of Kitab Khana. He was the Chairman of the Education Committee of the Indian Merchants Chamber and is a member of the Green Chemistry Initiative of the Scientific Advisors to the Government of India, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Indian Chemical Council, the Cornell University Council, and the Advisory Board of the School of Chemical Engineering of Cornell University.

He is a Visiting Instructor at the School of Chemical Engineering at Cornell. Samir Somaiya has Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Cornell as well. He also has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Harvard University.

Dr Avani Oke has more than 20 years of teaching and about 3 years of clinical experience before climbing the ladder as a Principal.

She started her career as a staff Nurse In Leelabai Thackersey College of Nursing, SNDT Women's University, Mumbai in 1993 and then worked in reputed hospitals like Cumballa and Hinduja Hospital to gain clinical expertise. She has worked in various capacities like Assistant lecturer, Lecturer and Associate Professor in Leelabai Thackersey College of Nursing. She has also worked as Course Coordinator of Critical Care in Lilavati Hospital. Dr Avani Oke has also worked as an Education Coordinator in Kinderd Hospital, New Jersey, USA.

Dr Avani Oke has completed her Masters in Nursing (Child Health Nursing) and PH.D from Leelabai Thackersey College of Nursing, SNDT Women's University with First class. She also did Post Graduate Diploma in Education Management from SNDT University, Mumbai with A Grade.

She has won Best Teacher Award in 2018 and was honored at the27th TNAI Biennial Conference held at Loni. She also won laurels for the institute and won the Best MQH practice award in February 2018 at the National conference organized by Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality award trust. The institute was also featured in Top 20 Most promising nursing colleges in Silicon India magazine under her leadership.

Dr Avani Oke has presented papers at State, National and International Conferences. She has also published papers in various newsletters and journals. She is on the TNAI editorial board and is an editor for the journal “International Journal of Nursing and Occupational Health”.

Dr Avani has been a coordinator, chairperson for organizing conferences, workshops and seminars.

A recipient of four Presidential Awards, he held numerous important appointments during the course of his illustrious career spanning almost four decades. In addition to combat and command assignments at various levels he has also been involved in the conduct of numerous studies associated with formulation of strategy, operational concepts, force structuring and transformation of the Army. An alumnus of the National Defence College, New Delhi, he has been a member of the faculty at the Defence Services Staff College at Wellington.

In his last assignment in service Lt. Gen. Jagbir Singh had administrative command of the Indian Army in Peninsular India which also included a number of training, medical and educational establishments. He holds an MPhil Degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from the Madras University.

Prof. V. N. Rajasekharan Pillai has been at the helm of affairs of many higher educational and scientific research establishments for the last 47 years of service as a teacher, researcher, professor, and executive head of Education, Science and Technology establishments in the country and abroad.

A design and hospitality observer & commentator who is currently inclined towards academics & people. She has more than 15 years of experience in the media industry.

She is a recognized postgraduate teacher and guide for M.D. (Pediatrics), Maharashtra University of Health Sciences since 2006. She has been an Examiner for M.D.(Pediatrics) examination since 2009.

She has an excellent academic record. She is a merit holder in SSC examination and completed her M.B.B.S., D.C.H. and M.D.(Pediatrics ) from Seth G.S.Medical College and K.E.M.Hospital.

She has completed her MD (Obstetrics & Gynecology) from Mumbai University and DHA from TISS (Topper). She has also completed DPH from CPS.

Dr. Vidya Mane has 26 years of rich experience in Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai at various positions. She has also been Awarded Best officer during Deputation Tenure in Mumbai District AIDS Control Society.

She has more than 19 years of experience in the clinical side and has worked as a staff Nurse, Supervisor , Coordinator in various reputed Hospitals all over.

She is a NABH assessor and has taken initiative for various programs in nursing service for quality improvement.

She is an active member of Student Nurses Association and the Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI).

She has more than 20 years of experience in the clinical side and has worked as a staff Nurse. Supervisor , Coordinator in various reputed Hospitals all over.

She also is a NABH examiner and has taken initiative to initiate various programs for nursing service improvement. Member of Critical care Nurses Society. She actively participates, organizes and presents papers at various conferences.

Here she also is an important representative on numerous committees of the hospital and plays a key role in taking nursing decisions forward.. Her contribution to the Nursing department includes implementation of numerous innovative and best practices in Nursing. She also took additional responsibility to head the nursing division of Hinduja Healthcare Surgical to establish the hospital’s nursing department and implement policies.

In her role as an Executive Director- Nightingale Initiative for Global Health, International Organization with its Head Office in Manitoba, Canada Dr. Mrs Phalakshi Manjrekar is responsible to initiate multiple goals for Nurses globally. She has prominently surveyed the role of Indian Nurses in calamities and in Nursing victims of terminal ill disorders.

She also contributed as a panelist to speak on “ Resources to Empower Nurses “ at the International Women’s World conference at the University of Ottawa, Canada. Her collaboration with University of Cincinnati (USA) and the Sardar Patel University in Gujarat, India for multi factorial research is well known. She has also conferred with global and regional nursing leaders in Canada, Great Britain, across the Commonwealth Countries, and Switzerland —she has also attended World Health Organization briefings in Geneva and at WHO SEARO – New Delhi.

Her contribution as a keynote speaker on nursing in the Commonwealth Nursing and Midwifery Federation, London in 2014 and also in 2016 on Indian Nursing is well appreciated. She also teamed the University of Missouri, USA and Hinduja Hospital Nursing on a knowledge sharing partner research module. She has contributed as an Nursing Author on International Forum amongst Key Nurses in two books for Springer USA publications. Her presentation at the ICN Barcelona on Nurses to promote hygiene is well appreciated.

He has worked with various companies like Zyfin Research Private Ltd., Boston Analytics Pvt. Ltd., The Times of India Group etc.

He has also handled the Secretarial & Legal Functions for India & US Operations at Boston Analytics and has also worked closely with Ernst & Young team for de-merger of Companies.

He has dealt with the compliance guidelines issued by Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) during the audit conducted for Times of India, The Economics Times and Maharashtra Times.

Mr. Faraz is a Member of Bombay Chartered Accountants of India, Malabar Hills Club Ltd, Mumbai, Bombay Presidency Radio Club Ltd., Mumbai.

Worked for 3 years in the UK and then in Seven Hills Hospital, Mumbai as a Nurse Manager and as a Nursing Lead - Mumbai region at nightingales Home Health Services .

She is a Graduate from Leelabai Thackersey College of Nursing and completed her M.Sc in Community Health Nursing from Bombay Hospital College of Nursing.

She has also been a chairperson, organizing Secretary for various workshops, conferences and seminar. She has published research papers in National and International journals.

Diploma in Hospital Administration (DHA) from Institute of Health Care Administration, Chennai,2005. Dr Sushma is a trained Sujok therapist and yoga trainer.

She has received the Best teacher award by the National teachers association in 2021. Received prizes for research paper presentation. She has also been a chairperson, organizing Secretary for various workshops, conferences and seminars. She has published research papers in National and International journals.

She has done her master in Paediatric Nursing from Bombay Hospital College of Nursing. She has a total 3yrs of clinical and 8 yrs of teaching experience. She has also done certificate course in SUJOK THERAPY in 2018.

Received award for “Excellence in teaching ”on Founders day by K.J.Somaiya Trust. Won first prize in scientific poster presentation at State and National level. She has done much research publication in national and international journals.
