To determine the anxiety level of pulmonary tuberculosis patients using modified SCAT anxiety scale. 4. To find out the association between knowledge, attitude and anxiety level with selected demographic variables such as age, gender, educational status and duration of illness. SAMPLE Pulmonary TB patients who are confirmed to have positive pulmonary tuberculosis and admitted to the selected TB sanatorium during the time of study. SAMPLE SIZE: 50 SAMPLING TECHNIQUE: A Convenient sampling technique was used. FINDINGS Table 1: Distribution of subjects according to the attitude scores n = 50 Categories Score Frequency Positive attitude 26-50 22 Negative attitude 0 – 25 28 Table 2: Distribution of patients according to the anxiety scores n = 50 Categories Score Frequency Percentage Severe anxiety 21-30 01 02% Moderate anxiety 11 – 21 30 60%
