Placement Cell

The placement cell of K J Somaiya College of Nursing is responsible for the career guidance and placement activities of the college. It aims at shaping the career path of the students. The cell identifies the reputed hospitals and recruitment firms and acts as a link between the students and the recruiters. Students are equipped to identify the job opportunities suitable for them and to go through the process of placement. The cell also makes sure that the students go through the on campus and off campus interviews with least difficulties. Many reputed hospitals visit our college regularly and conduct placement interviews for the final year students.

Aim

To make students aware of the career opportunities after the completion of nursing course and to ensure appropriate placement according to their interest and abilities

Objectives

  • Equip students according to the demand of the recruiters
  • Motivate students for higher studies
  • Encourage students for state, national and international level competitive exams
  • Coordinate between the students and the recruiters
  • Ensure maximum placement of the students
  • Provide resources to the students to facilitate career planning process
